As a Creative Director and Designer, Matt brings more than a decade of knowledge and experience to Studio MN. From corporate to agency to freelance, he has the expertise necessary to fill the special needs of each project

His underlying philosophy is to work hard creating clean, simple, elegant design that will stand the test of time.  ie. . . Use the flash, dash, bells and whistles to support the overall design, not to be the focus of the work.  

During his tenure as an Art Director at L.L. Bean, Matt was responsible for all facets of catalog design including managing external resources, studio art direction and running extended location photo shoots. His time spent in the agency and freelance worlds found him involved in projects encompassing logo and business system development, brochures, advertising, web design, and photography for a diverse range of clients.

When not working, an enthusiastic love for the outdoors keeps Matt and his family on the go all seasons of the year.
